Repair Tech/Technical Support

We're looking for a Repair Technician / Technical Support Specialist to troubleshoot, analyze, and repair electronic products. You'll provide top-notch technical support and innovative solutions to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical support to customers
  • Perform repair, service, and evaluation activities
  • Issue and manage RMAs
  • Investigate customer complaints and nonconformities
  • Collect and evaluate data to improve support processes
  • Develop process documentation and work instructions
  • Maintain inventory control of repair components and tools
  • Recommend system/product upgrades
Requirements

Required:

  • Technical AS Degree/training or equivalent experience
  • Understanding of electronics principles and design
  • Mechanical and electrical aptitude
  • Familiarity with industrial communication protocols (Analog, Modbus, BACnet, Wireless, Relay logic)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Detail-oriented with strong communication skills
  • Ability to understand wiring diagrams and schematics
  • Proficiency with tools (soldering equipment, multimeters, etc.)

Preferred:

  • Knowledge of HVAC, Security Systems, Fire Alarms, Building Controls
  • Understanding of sensor technologies (Electrochemical, Catalytic Bead, Infrared, Solid State)
